Wisconsin Election Protection Volunteer Attorney Observer Program

Protecting the right to vote through nonpartisan poll monitoring

Posted October 2, 2024

Work & Deliverables

Non-partisan Election Protection attorney observers serve a critical role by providing poll monitoring during elections, helping to respond to and address issues reported by Election Observers and to the Election Protection Hotline, and, in rare cases, stepping into court with the help of the ACLU legal team and its attorney coalition partners. Non-partisan attorney volunteers also receive training specific to voting rights and democracy defense.
