Spotlight the College Affordability Crisis via the 2020 Presidential Race & Mobilize Students to Vote
Posted August 5, 2019
Rise is seeking counsel for two initiatives:
The first initiative involves the 2020 presidential candidates, and an effort to spotlight the consequences of the college affordability crisis. This project requires support to navigate campaign finance law, 501(c)3 and c(4) restrictions, and relationships with colleges and universities. This initiative will encourage lawmakers to develop to college student hunger, homelessness, and student loan debt.
The second initiative is a micro-grant program we are launching with a national major media outlet. These grants will be awarded to college students to pilot innovative get out the vote strategies on their campuses during the 2020 primary elections. We will need counsel to design and execute the legal components of the grant program.
