Background & Context
Although our mission is Afghan refugee housing connections, we are in close contact with an "accidental" Afghan refugee (he was at a conference here in the US when Kabul fell) now in Virginia who needs to start the asylum process ASAP. He worked for the previous government and his wife and two children (one and infant) are still in Afghanistan. He is currently safe in Virginia but if the current government discovers he's here, his family will be ransomed. This is an URGENT request for legal assistance and processing for asylum and we will work closely alongside and with any pro bono lawyer with an asylum/immigration background.
Immediate Problem
Asylum process needs to start ASAP.
Work & Deliverables
Full asylum legal processing.
Preparation Phase
- Intro call with our organization
Collaboration Phase
- We do not have a legal background and so need all required help for a successful asylum claim.
Wrap Up
- We will bake you a cake of your favorite flavor!
